To my family, and the Davis family, words cannot remove the sadness that we all feel for the loss if our Kia. But what I can say is that she touched all of us in a very special way. And this we shall remember. I am here when and however you may need me. I love you all.

To Brenda and family,
I am so terribly sorry for the loss. Kia was so stubborn and mouthy I loved every minute of working with her. I loved watching her role her eyes at Brenda only to get the same back. I was blessed and thankful to have a chance to know "The Dynamic Duo" (Brenda & Kia). It's been 8 years but I still remember the laughter, the love and the long days. Little Willow would not have been the same without them.

I would like to pass on my condolences and sympathies to Zakia's surviving family and close friends. I was so sad to hear of her tragic death and was a close friend of hers all throughout high school. We lost touch in the recent years but I would occasionally see her, her brother, Jason or her mother, Brenda around DuQuoin. It is a very nice family and Zakia was such a nice, sweet, and compassionate friend and family member to all her loved her. I have fond memories of playing with Zakia during our childhood. She was always so sweet, with a kind voice and beautiful smile.
I am so sorry you all have to go through this difficult time. Please remember that you have a town full of family and friends who care for you and are there whenever you need us. Don't hesitate to get a hold of us.

I know that you Ashaunti are now an angels in the sky looking down on us with great big pretty smiles along with Grandma. Im never going to say good bye I am just saying that I will see you later. I try not to cry but I know that you wouldn't want that but what keeps me going is that I know you and Shaunti are with God and are well taken care of. Tell Grandma I said that I love her and Wesley Snipes said whatz up! (smile). Well cuz, I guess I have rattled on enough. I love you and Shaunti so much.
