I can only very vaguely remember a time when Wilber was not married to my sister Virginia. He was always very kind and generous to me. What I will remember most is his sense of humor. He could always crack me up. Rest in peace brother. You were loved.
Sending my heartfelt sympathy to the Heggemeier family. I remember when I would babysit the girls many years ago and he handed me a baseball bat and told me to use it in his roosters if they got too close. He was a wonderful man and I know he will be missed by many.
