May she Rest Peacefully in the arms of Jesus Christ! I will miss visiting with her when she lived in the Conat House. I always loved hearing all the stories of our family before I was even Born!!! I also still enjoy some of the Recipes she &/or Granny (her Mom & my Great Grandma) made that I loved throughout my childhood. She was always one of my Favorite Aunts (actually a Great Aunt).

With love for many wonderful years of friendship and support. Vida was a wonderful mother in-law and I will forever miss the evenings we spent playing games at the kitchen table, wood stove going and pie being served. Rest in peace, Vida Fern!

So sorry to hear this. Vida was a good friend for many years. Met her years ago when I worked at DuBois Center. She would volunteer to check kids into Camp on Sunday afternoons and help during the week in the office. Loved her.
