Reginald M. Williams' Obituary
Reginald M. Williams, age 40, of Sparta, IL, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL.
Reginald was born October 18, 1980 in Centerville, IL, a son to Larry, Sr. and Carrie (Parks) Williams. On April 22, 2006, he married Bobbi Jo Ethington in Sparta, IL. Reginald was a member of the Road to Life Church, Sparta, IL. He worked as a laborer for several years. Reginald enjoyed fencing as a child. He grew to have a passion for singing, creating beats, and dancing. Reginald enjoyed playing video games and cutting hair, where he used tape to ensure his straight lines. He loved being with his kids and playing with his grandchildren, some say he was like a big kid himself. Reginald was a great person who made people smile and will always be remembered for his smile.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbi Jo Williams of Montgomery, AL; one son, Reginald Williams, Jr. of Mascoutah, IL; four daughters, Alissa Williams of Montgomery, AL, Ambria Williams of Mascoutah, IL, Madyson Williams of Montgomery, AL, and Jeanette Williams of Montgomery, AL; three brothers, Derrick Williams, David Williams, and Nathaniel Garrett, all of Sparta, IL; two sisters, Candice Williams of Coulterville, IL and Christie Williams of Sparta, IL; two grandchildren, Arielle Johnson and Imry Gentry, both of Montgomery, AL; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; one daughter, Jada C. Williams; one brother, Larry "Bobcat" Williams, Jr.; and one niece, Nyosha White.
A private service will be held with Pastor David Richardson officiating. Interment will be in Caledonia Cemetery, Sparta, IL.
Due to health concerns related to the Covid-19 virus attendance will be limited and social distancing will be enforced. All attendees are asked to wear a mask.
