Rev. J. Mark Harris Sr. & Family
To the dear members of the Hoffman Family,
Having pastored for almost 30 years and blessed to lead 3 congregations, I have never had a more kind, faithful, caring or giving Saint than "Brother Hoffman". "Brother and Sister Hoffman" became surrogate grandparents almost immediately to my 3 children, Christin 22, Emilly 18, and Jonathan 12 when we made the journey of faith from South Florida to Southern Illinois over four years ago . Through many tough times he and his dear wife have been a shoulder for my wife Michele and I to cry on and their arms along with those of our Church family here in Pinckneyville have supported us through many times both good and times of trial. God truly blessed our family to become friends with their expanded family. I personally count their three son-in-laws as some of my dearest friends and my wife counts their four daughters as great comforters and encouragers and friends. Bro. Hoffman will be greatly missed by our family and our congregation but we pledge to do our very best to take care of his dear wife and family until we all stand together one day soon on streets of pure gold. When our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ calls the name of Paul "Dean" Hoffman and says "well done thou good and faithful servant" he will hear a resounding "AMEN" echo from our family across our Heavenly home.
With the greatest love,
Mark, Michele, Christin, Emilly and Jonathan
