Mary Jane met and befriended my mother Adrienne during a cruise. She eventually met my entire family in America and New Zealand. She stayed with me in Nevada over the 4th of July one year, and I have fantastic memories of Mary Jane and Mum in their matching USA Flag parkas on the shores of Lake Tahoe watching the fireworks. I will miss Mary Jane's loving and thoughtful texts - she always had a way of reaching out and connecting. We had some fun times with technology - maybe now she knows where all the emails went!

Mary Jane and i met on an Alaskan cruise, then she took a big adventure and flew to New Zealand. We had so much fun, she met my family and friends. I visited her twice in Illinois. She was an amazing friend and for years she would post me long letters until I taught her to email. I am sad to hear of her passing. RIP Mary Jane. Love Adrienne
