Linda Marie Pabst, age 62, of Gilbertsville, KY, formerly of Carmi, IL passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. in M.D. Anderson Hospital, Houston, TX after a lengthy and valiant battle with cancer. Linda was born on Octob Read Obituary
Don & Family was saddened to hear of Lindas passing. I am in GA taking care of my sons children. It was a pleasure knowing Linda. I remember Linda and I coming to OK to see you when you were in service. God Nless you are in my prayers.
I remember Linda from my High School Days. Always positive and what a contagous smile! May you take comfort in knowing that she is truely at peace. My prayers are with you and your family.

My husband, Bud, and I were saddened to hear that Linda had passed away.
We were so pleased when the two of you and your close friends, drove all the way out to Oregon to meet my son, Vincent. Even though we only spent a few hours together for dinner, it was such a priviledge for us to meet Linda.
I will remember her for her extreme gratitude towards Vincent and her most positive outlook on life and her future.
Linda had a way of instantly making everyone around her feel comfortable. And what a smile she had! How I would have loved to have known Linda better.
She certainly influenced Vincent's life. She will be missed by all of us.

I feel honored to have known Linda Lou if only for this short time, and my only regret is that I could not have helped more. My experience with donating marrow to Linda changed my life and inspired me to be a better person. Although you may think it was I who had the opportunity to help Linda, in reality it was the other way around. This experience brought a depth and meaning to my life that wasn't there before I got that letter asking to donate.
I remember the trip the two of you made to Oregon to meet my family and me, and to go rafting down the McKenzie River. I am so glad you did because it turned out to be a lot of fun and quite an adventure. It was the biggest thank you a person could ever give, and I will never ever forget it.
As of today, I passed my final exams to complete my first year of nursing school and I want you all to know that because of Linda, when I go into any of my patients rooms, I know just what it means to help a fellow human being. Because of Linda, I have learned the lesson that, when I am giving, I am truly receiving, and when I am helping, I am truly the one being helped.
Thank you Linda Lou for all that you brought to my life. You will always be special to me.
I was sad to hear of Linda's passing. I have a lot of fond memories of Linda, Don, Dan, and Donna. They were all wonderful neighbors. May God bless you through this time of grief. May you also find comfort that she is no longer suffering.
WE were deeply saddened to hear that Linda passed away. She fought so hard. WE especially remember her wonderful smile and infectious laugh. WE will be out of town over the weekend and wanted to express our sympathy to all the family. She will be missed.
Don and family. We were so sorry to hear of the passing of Linda. She was a great person and gave this battle all she had. She was such an inspiration to all around her. May God continue to wrap his loving arms around you all. Linda is now without pain and suffering...that should give everyone peace.
I met Linda through my parents, Chuck and Shirley McCarty. Linda was an inspiration to me and was a joy to be around. Kentucky Lake won't be the same without her. Charlie will miss swapping fishing tactics with her.

She was such a wonderful big sister and I know she was the best Mom and spouse anybody could ever hope for.
I pray for healing of all our hearts, and to be able to remember the part of Linda that made us all smile and shake our heads because of the crazy things she did for just one more laugh. Never could anybody enjoy themself anymore than Lou. We were so blessed with the best.
