Deepest Sympathy.
Laverne's family - I am so sorry for your loss. She was an iconic Pastor's wife and still quite a woman in her own right. I enjoyed her music and visiting with her when Howard was the Pastor at St. Paul's
Aunt LaVerne and Uncle Keith were by godparents. Over the years I received many cards with precious words of wisdom from them. I'm sure they spent many hours in prayer for me and my family. They were in attendance for our September 5, 1981 wedding -- celebrating their 27th anniversary! So sorry for your loss but celebrating her ascent to heaven and future resurrection with our Lord -- reuniting her with her beloved husband and family.
I'm so sorry to hear of LaVerne's passing. I enjoyed getting to know her this past year and a half as I helped her out around the house. She was a very nice lady and will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time.
Pat, Connie, and Michael,
My husband Roger and daughters Katie and Laura and I send our condolences on the loss of your mother.
She and Mom used to shake their heads and laugh together when hearing the stories after your dad and mine had fished the strip mine pits down at Pyatt's. And your mom used to always offer me a ride to high school if I were walking past the parsonage as you were all leaving in the morning.
Dad and Mom thought the world of your folks, and I still think of those days often. May her memory be a blessing.
