Barbara, Lavonne and all the Bathon family--I remember the fun with Joe and Clara at dances at DuBois and anywhere we could find one. Wonderful memories of two wonderful people.
Sorry to hear of Joe's passing. He was a very nice man and fun to be around. I met him buying hay and at the thresherman's, which won't be the same without him. I enjoyed his company and talking horses and mules. They broke the mold with him and he will be sadly missed.
Joe was the kind of person who touched the lives of everyone who knew him. The time he spent with our grandchildren was always special. They learned a lot from Joe and yet there was so much more to learn. We only hope they may have taught him a thing or two also. We could always see the softer side of Joe when he spent time with our grandchildren. We will always remember the time we spent together this Christmas. Our thoughts and prayers are with Joe's family.
To the Bathon Family:
I was very sorry to hear of Joe's passing. He and I had many many good times coon hunting and I will miss him a lot. He was a good friend and a good person.
