John Edward Bolinski's Obituary
John Edward Bolinski, age 89, of Tamaroa, IL, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at 5:58 p.m., in Friendship Manor, Nashville, IL.
John was born on December 24, 1934 in Pinckneyville, IL, a son to Felix and Antonilla "Toni" (Miller) Bolinski. In 1965, he married Barbara Ann Wright in the Ozarks, MO and she survives. John proudly served in the United States Army in a construction battalion from 1956 until 1959. He was a construction electrician for over 30 years with Union Local 702. John was of the Catholic faith and was a member of the Pinckneyville Lions Club. In his spare time, John liked using and working on the computer. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Ann of almost 60 years of Tamaroa, IL; one step-son, Eric Hill of Tamaroa, IL; one step-daughter, Roxann Hill of Tamaroa, IL; three brothers, Felix "Junior" (Carol) Bolinski, of Carbondale, IL; James A. Bolinski of Pinckneyville, IL; and Robert J. Bolinski of Pinckneyville, IL; two sisters, Elizabeth "Betty" Werger of Pinckneyville, IL and Doris A. (Jim) Beaty of Pinckneyville, IL; two grandchildren, Zachary and Erica Hill.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Mary Frances Kelly; and one brother-in-law, Bill Kelly.
John's wishes were to be cremated.
