I am in possession of a family bible from the 1880s that includes a death notice for Lewis Hammack, as well as various birth notices for the Riggs family. I've had the bible since my grandmother died, without understanding her connection, and I would like to find a home for it.
The universe has shifted with the loss of Mr. Hammack. I'm so very sorry for your loss Chantelle and John. I was always comforted to see him in church. Words cannot satisfy what I wish to convey to you Mary Lou. I am deeply saddened with the news. You and Mr. Hammack are exemplary in every way. I love you all. Please accept my deepest sympathy.
