We are so sorry to hear about Irma. She was a very sweet person. In fact we were talking at the family reunion about getting a family tree book of the families together. We would never have thought that this would have happened three months later. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Our thoughts and prayers have special emphasis on you and your family. I have some special memories of you and Irma during my stay in Pinckneyville. Both of you made significant efforts to ensure that my family was welcome in your community. Irma always had a smile and kind words to share. I regret not being able to attend the funeral.

Red-hair, long-legs and a smile that didn't stop--that was Irma when I met her so many years ago in grade school. She was special to me then, through high school and throughout the years that have followed. Irma was, and is, a blessing to everyone who knows her. My love and heartfelt sympathy to Gary and the family.

I have many fond memories of my younger days spent on the farm with you all. I especially remember and think fondly of Aunt Irma when I see one of my kids wearing the popcorn hat that I loved wearing at your home as a child.
She will be greatly missed and will always be loved.
