Irene E. Marlow's Obituary
Irene E. Marlow, age 89, of Coulterville, IL, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at 11:44 a.m. in Coulterville Care Center, Coulterville, IL. Irene was born on April 12, 1922 in Pinckneyville, IL, a daughter to John Henry and Emma (Yung) Loos. On January 7, 1950, she married Frederick "Bill" Kohring and to this union, three children were born. He passed away January 14, 1995. She married Clyde Marlow on June 18, 1977 and he preceded her in death on February 22, 1986. Irene was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Pinckneyville, IL and F.O.E. Aerie #2522, Pinckneyville, IL. She enjoyed volunteering at her church and quilting, gardening, playing bingo, and fishing with her husband Clyde. Irene is survived by two sons, Bill (Susan) Kohring of Coulterville, IL and John (Connie) Kohring of Valley Springs, CA; one daughter, Connie (Steve) Davenport of Countryside, IL; one sister, Mildred Wildermuth of Coulterville, IL; eight grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one brother, John Loos; and one sister, Marie Bathon. Private graveside services will be held. Interment will be in Mueller Hill Cemetery Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Sunday, June 12, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Memorials may be to the Autism Society.
