Heath Allen Chapman's Obituary
Heath Allen Chapman, age 39, of Portola Hills, CA, formerly of Pinckneyville, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2007 as a result of a motorcycle accident. Heath was born on Jan. 10, 1968 in Pinckneyville, a son to James D. "Jimmy" Chapman and Linda (Miller) Wright. He was a graduate of Pinckneyville High School class of 1986, and the Culinary Institute of America in 1990. He was the Executive Chef at Parker's Lighthouse Restaurant, Long Beach, CA. Survivors include his fiancée: Sarah Booth of Portola Hills, CA, one son: Calen Jones of Tilden, IL, one daughter: Briannah Leigh Chapman of Billings, Montana, parents: James and step-mother: Donnia Chapman of Pinckneyville, Linda and step-father: Gary Wright of Hurricane, West Virginia, former wife: Britney Burrington of Billings, Montana, four brothers: David and wife Theresa Chapman of Lima, Peru, Daniel and wife Carla Chapman of Pinckneyville, IL, Shawn and wife Sarah Coffel of St. Louis, MO, and Craig Wright of Hurricane, West Virginia, four nieces and four nephews, and several uncles, aunts and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother: Donnie Ray Chapman in 1963, grandparents: Craig and Kathryn Chapman and Earl and Iva Miller all of Pinckneyville, and one cousin: Greg Chapman. Funeral services will be held at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, Pinckneyville on Saturday, July 14, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Rob Mathis officiating. Friends may call at Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, Pinckneyville on Friday from 6:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. till 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Heath Chapman Educational Fund.
