I was looking thur the obituaries and i was so shocked to see Heath Chapman. I lived in Pinckneyville for a long time and i was lucky to know the chapman family, They were good people. i send my deepest sorrow for the family, What a sad thing to happened.

I knew Heath while he worked here in Chicago as a Chef at the Blackhawk Lodge. I was just getting started in my career in Event Planning and Catering with Levy Restaurants. There was a small group of us Event Planners and Chefs that would enjoy a few cocktials as the Clark Street Ale house after a long day - Heath was always the life of the party!
He was also one of the most genuine guys I knew. Having visited Whitefish, MT I got a good idea on where his zest for life comes from.
It seems to have followed him throughout his life.
Jimmy and Linda...I am so sorry for the loss of Heath. I loved him like a brother. I know I have moved away but I think of you and the boys all the time. Please contact me if you need anything. I love you both. May God Bless You during this difficult time.

I met Heath in our Top Gun class for Levy Restaurants, we had a great time at our monthly meetings. Heath was always smiling, and in a good mood. He was a passionate Chef, and will be dearly missed. My sympathies to Sarah, whom I never got to meet, but Heath talked about often.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of such a wonderful person. Heath is one of the most sincere and genuine people I have ever known in my lifetime, and all of his family and friends will forever feel Blessed by having been touched by his presence in this world.

I am heart broken at the loss of Heath. He was truly one of the kindest and most sincere people I have ever known. It was an honor and a privledge to be known as a friend and a co-worker. We were friends for many years and I counted him as one of my favorite people on this planet. I grieve for all of you and the loss of such a wonderful person. I am so sorry for such a tragic end to such a wonderful life. I will always miss him. Please extend my sincerest condolences to Sarah she is a sweet girl and I am so sorry for her loss as well.
