Derek Wilke
My name is Derek and I met Harold about 14 years ago. I was thinking about him today out of the blue as I do ever so often, and I came across his obituary, on his birthday.
We met at a not so great place in each other's lives, but he obviously left a lasting impression on me that I'll never forget.
I remember the stories he shared and thinking of them again have me chuckling to myself saying "Harold" and shaking my head. He was all about that fiddle faddle too.
I didn't know much about his life and all he accomplished with it.
He was truly someone special and from what I know from my experience is this obituary couldn't be more true of him.
Harold, thank you for being part of my life, albeit brief but memorable. Thank you for your service, Welcome home, and Happy Birthday.
