Dear Gwen, Scott, and Dwight you have my sympathy in the loss of your wonderful dad. I will always remember Mr. Hamilton fondly from my different interactions with him for yearbook, church, and architectural drawing class. He was a dedicated instructor who displayed admirable wit and tireless effort into a variety of activities and yet always had time for everyone. He was forthright and firm setting an educated but humble example for all. I still have the elaborate architectural house plans from my senior year in 1978 that he gladly devoted extra time during his break to helping me finish. He had a well lived life. (Mathew 25:21)

Glen was a one of a kind guy. He was of a special generation and we value all that he taught us. I k ew him as the father of my best friend. But also knew him at school. A few things I remember are all the jokes played on him. He had this little foreign car that the football players carried in to the old girls gym. Not sure how they got it out. We T peed that car a few times also. Although I cannot recall much that he said I do remember the voice and that grin. My sympathies t,o the family and the community. Marilyn Stombaugh

I'm so sorry for the loss of Mr. Hamilton. While I never took any of his classes, I knew him as a good man who was passionate about his subjects and teaching his students. He was a positive influence on so many fortunate kids who passed through his classroom.
