Dearest Mother: Your birthday is soon, Sept. 15. Wish I could tell you how much I miss you. You were a jewel in my life.
Coming up very soon on 9/15 is Mother's birthday. I know she tried to prepare me for her death by telling me that I should not grieve, but be happy for her. I am very happy for Mother because she had faith in Jesus' promises; but I did not know how very much pain is involved in losing her voice, her presence, her smile, her smell, her laughter, her hugs, kisses, gentleness, her making each one feel valuable as a person. I still hurt deeply in the inner recesses of the soul and wish I could hug her on her 95th birthday. Forever, Mom. K

Susie,
I am sorry to hear about your Grandma. You and your family is in my thoughts and prayers
My heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of Grandma Ernie's family and friends. I did not get to know Grandma Ernie very well, but the few times I had the pleasure to visit her I was always touched by quite nature, her peaceful demeanor and her spirit of thankfulness. I know we are all grateful to have had Grandma Ernie as a part of our lives and may the example she was, and the memories she left, inspire all of us.
As Susan Wall's Husband I new from the moment I met her how special Gramma Ernie was. I only knew my Grandmothers at a very young age and missed out on that special memory and love they give. So when I married Susie I had the priviledge of knowing a grand portion mothering love. She cooked wonderful Southern food. Susies and my favorite is her Chicken and Dumplings and this we will always enjoy in memory of her. My condolences to all and I am very thankful to have such a family that continues the legacy of Gramma Ernie! Love your family, no questions asked.
Friends, we send you our love and sympathy, and we know another trooper has reached the goal! Rob, Amy and children, we miss you...
Words cannot express what my heart is feeling, the loss of a very special person to me, lots of memories that I will cherish always. Thank you for your wonderful example! Glenda
