Granddaughter of Ruth Goodrich
So sorry to hear of your loss.
Our families were blessed to have our Mothers share their special friendship, hobbies, families and God with each other for over 70 years. Your mom was a special person in my life and I smile when I think about our Mother's souls meeting in heaven.
To the Montgomery family,
You have my deepest sympathies for your loss. I had the honor of getting to know Elizabeth at the care center where she resided. She was such an amazing person. it was hard not to care so much for her. She was always so nice and kind to everyone she encountered.
I spent many mornings and nights talking with her and got to know her pretty well. We shared many story's with each other and had talks about family, friends, faith, hopes and fears. I know she loved her family very much and was so happy you were there for her. She knew you had her back. She was always so happy to tell me when you stopped in to see her. That ment so much more to her than you know. I was always so happy for her with that.
Some people don't even get that when they end up in a place like that. She was very lucky to have you. I see why she bragged on you so much.
Elizabeth appreciated every thing we would do for her no matter how big or small
She would always thank us with a smile and tell us how much she appreciated us. The more time I spent with her the more I just learned to love her to death.
She made getting up to go to work every day easy when you know someone cares about you as much as you care about them.
Before I had the job at the center I had a big hole in my life and felt lonely, unwanted, and unloved. The resedents like her filled that hole. She always told me thank you for everything I did for her but,I never got the chance to thank her for what she did for me.she made me feel wanted, needed, loved and appreciated. All the things I was lacking in my life she helped give that back to me.I can't thank her enough for building my self worth back up again. I was so blessed to get to know her for the time I did. I'll miss her so much. It's not going to be the same without her.
Also I want to thank the family members that let my have the puppy I got for her. I know what it ment to her and now it means that much to me. It now sits on a table at the foot of my bed, so I can think of her now first thing when I open my eyes in the morning. I will cherish it aways! Thank you and God bless and be with you in this time of sadness. Edie Inyart
Our prayers and love to your family. George & Dehlila Gifford
I want to extend my sympathy. Your Mom and Dad came down to my parents farm in Alto Pass,
Illinois and got peaches from my parents. I enjoyed visiting with her so much she was a very special lady. Take care of all of you through this difficult time. Judy Bittle ( Connie Wills & Mary Beth Bowers cousin)
I'm so sorry for your loss, and send my condolences. This is one of the hardest times in a family's life, always know that others care. Most important God cares. He has promised a time when he will "swallow up death forever and he will wipe the tears from all faces." (Isaiah 25:8) Praying for your family, and praying you will find comfort in this promise.
Madelyn, Sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. From the condolences offered by others, she was a remarkable woman. Take care.
