My sympathy on your mother's passing. Your mother was always nice to me. I fondly remember her pulling together the AAL Christmas dinners in the church basement when I was a kid. A good time was had by all at those dinners.

To Nancy, Gene, and Marilyn our thoughts and prayers are with you all. I still remember all the good times I used to have with your mom. She was a great person and I know she will be missed. I just thank God that He allowed her to live as long as she did. What a great women. You all take care.

Gene and Nancy,
You are in my thoughts and prayers. Dorothy always had a kind word and beautiful smile for anyone she happened to meet. I always enjoyed talking to her when going for my walk.
We send our sympathy to you and your family. We will miss seeing Dorothy on our visits in Nashville.
(family of Evelene at Friendship Manor)

Wonderful memories of a fine lady.
We send love and our sincere sympathy. What can be said about such a special person. I learned so much from your mom and enjoyed spending time with her always. Grandma Jones and you mom were great neighbors and friends. Baby chicks, cutting slaw for the Firemen's fish fries, visiting under the sycamore trees and so many other memories. She will always have a special place in my heart. If you need anything let us know.
Now my angel is in heaven. Dorothy sat with me when my granddad died and she was at the hospital when my grandmother had surgery. She stayed with us a weekend when my parents were out of town when I was in Jr. High. I told her several times she was my angel. She was always there when I needed her. Such a special lady.
So sorry for your loss! Our prayers are with all of your family at this sad time. I always enjoyed talking to Dorothy when we'd meet at B/day parties, etc... A very sweet lady!!
Love & Prayers,
Sue & Ken
