Daisy Belle Williams' Obituary
Daisy Belle Williams age 78, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away Friday, January 18, 2008 at 7:10 a.m. in the Pinckneyville Skilled Care Center. Daisy was born on February 21, 1929 in Rice, IL, a daughter to John and Inez (Corr) Hunter. She married Donald "Buck" Williams on September 4, 1954 and he preceded her in death on May 26, 2004. During their nearly 50 years of marriage, Buck and Daisy enjoyed camping and traveling throughout the country, especially following their retirement from the My-T-Fine Pudding factory in Pinckneyville, where they were both employed. Survivors include her daughters: Jane Ann Williams of St. Louis, MO, and Mary (Robert) Miller of Worthington, MN, three grandsons: Zachary, Matthew and Timothy Miller, a sister: Madine Lewis of Bryant, AR, and many special nieces, nephews, brothers-in-laws and sister-in-laws and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four sisters: Ressie Zumstein, Cordie Kostner, Ruby McDonald and Fern Hunter, and three brothers Oscar, John, and James Hunter. It was Mrs. William's desire to be cremated with no service. Friends wishing to remember Daisy may make donations in her name to Pinckneyville Skilled Care Auxiliary or Luke Memorial Hospice. Pyatt Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
