Candace J. Wright Klein's Obituary
Candace J. Wright Klein, age 48, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away at 6:14 p.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at SSM Good Samaritan Hospital, Mt. Vernon, IL. Candy was born on January 10, 1968 in New Orleans, LA, a daughter to Carrol Dwayne and Paula (Kuhnert) Wright. Candy accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior on May 2, 1976. She was a gifted pianist and enjoyed playing classical music and played for several community churches. She loved music, especially classical and folk music from the 1920s and 1930s. She always envisioned herself a 1920s flapper in Paris or "somewhere in time" or a 19th century lady. Candy was an avid reader with a great memory that could entertain for hours with stories of England, Paris and European travels; always sprinkled with much wit and humor. She loved conversation in general but especially on history and music. She was intelligent, fluent in the French language and knew Latin very well. She was an avid fan of Downton Abby. Je t'aime, mon ami. Survivors include her husband, Harold Klein; her mother, Paula Wright; her brother, Matt (Jennifer) Wright; her nephew, Joshua Wright; and her niece, Madelyn Wright, all of Pinckneyville, IL. She was preceded in death by her father, Carrol Dwayne Wright and her nephew, Noah Wright. A memorial service will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Monday, July 25, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. with Reverend Charles Boling and Dr. Jay Lowder officiating. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to WSIU or the Women's Center of Carbondale.
