My deepest condolences to the entire Martin family. Bernie was a great guy, always willing to help anyone. My fondest memories as part of the family were the 4th of July fish fries. Always a ton of good food and of course the games (washers and horse shoes). He will be missed.

So sorry for your loss,was married at one time to a giacomo ,had some funny memories Beth and I teepeeing the inside of there house one halloween and many sunday dinners at grandma and grandpa Martin's .so sorry for all your loss .
I have a ton of memories. But right after he knew he was sick, he came to our house and Danny was gone. We sit and chatted awhile and he said " can I get some of those tomatoes? I've got a bunch of family coming in this weekend. " I of course got a couple bags and started picking while he sat on his tailgate of his truck. I came out with two bags full. He then said "no no no, i don't need this many. I said Be quiet, don't tell me what to do. He said, "yes ma'am. " We laughed so hard over that. Gonna miss him a whole bunch.
Bernard always had a smile, and time to say hello whenever you saw him. I can just see him now, getting to know so many new people and catching up with his family and friends waiting for him.
Sorry to hear about Berni's passing. I remember as a kid taking my car to George's and Berni and George would work on it. Berni always got a kick out of my stomping on the floor to turn the radio on that he would turn off when I wasn't looking and turn back on after i would stomp on the floor several times. He was a good man!
