I will always have the best childhood memories of my grandmother Alberta. From the waldorf salad and mashed potatoes to the matching outfits and stuffed rabbits she would make for my sister and I. You were a strong christian woman and such a positive roll model in our lives and we have been blessed and made richer from your love and teachings. Len, I saw your mother's obit. in today's paper. I am so sorry for your loss. My mother, Lillian Crenshaw, told of their college days together; she said she was known as "Skippy." Then our families were back in Carbondale at UBC. My mother was born in 1915 and died in l998. You were fortunate to have your mother for all these years. My husband and I moved back to So. Illinois in 1999 and cared for Dad until he died in 2001. My husband retired from Herrin Hospital last year as their chaplain. God's blessings on you and your family during this time. Sandra
