Zelma Wanita Marlow's Obituary
Zelma Wanita Marlow, age 86, of Pinckneyville, IL passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2008 at 6:00 a.m. in Fairview Nursing Center, DuQuoin, IL. Zelma was born on January 1, 1922 in Perry County, IL, a daughter to Earl Rich and Emma (Kelley) Keene. In April of 1940, she married Carl R. Marlow in Perryville, MO and he survives. She was a homemaker, and a member of Beaucoup Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL where she was on the kitchen committee and a member of the Women's Missionary Union. Survivors include her husband: Carl Marlow of Pinckneyville, IL, three children: Carla Kay "Corkey" Mathenia of Pinckneyville, IL, Relda Gail Marlow of Pinckneyville, IL, and Ritchey (Valorie) Marlow of Pinckneyville, IL, seven grandchildren: Amy Kay Halleran, Kyla J. (Tim) Deaton, Staci Lynn (Brandon) Blankenship, Kimberly K. (Robert) Hayes, Kandace Sue (Matt) Collins, Jennifer Taryn Marlow, Austin Glen (Nicole) Marlow, and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter: Gyula Jean Marlow, son-in-law: Floyd Bruno, sister: Bernice Kuhnert, and brother: Rev. Tobe Rich. Funeral services will be held at Beaucoup Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL on Saturday, August 9, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Mark Lee officiating. Interment will be in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL. Friends may call at Beaucoup Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to VNA-Tip Hospice, Pinckneyville, IL.
