How strange to have come upon this sad news. You will not remember me, but I remember you all with great affection. What a wonderful memory of "Bill" and Virginia - and especially "Barbie" - Please accept my condolences - we never know whose lives we touch and how meaningful that touch can be.

Barb and Bill, what wonderful memories I have spending time with you and your family growing up in Pinckneyville. Prior to Jack's parents passing we would visit with your dad at the Methodist church when visiting. He loved you guys so much and always gave me a big "hug". I send my sympathy. We just wanted to let Bills family know that Bill will be missed. He came in to PCMP often when my son's and I worked there. He always made us smile and gave tid-bits of advice. He was a delight and brightened many days. Our thoughts are with your family during this time.

I only have fond memories of "Old Bill". He took me along with his family to a ballgame in St. Louis and bought me a steak dinner. Then, all those fishing trips to the pit. I could go on and on. He was truly one of a kind. I wish I could be present to see all his family again. May God bless. Jack
