William Caby Hepp's Obituary
William Caby Hepp, age 45, of Pinckneyville, IL passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 10:43 a.m. in Good Samaritan Hospital, Mt. Vernon, IL. Caby was born on June 14, 1970 in Pinckneyville, IL, a son to Robert L. "Bobby" and Karon (Hagel) Hepp. Caby worked as a sportscaster for WPXS Channel 13 in Mt. Vernon, IL and for the last 12 years had worked for WDQN Radio, DuQuoin, IL. He was a member of Beaucoup Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL and a member of the American Legion Post #647, DuQuoin, IL and Pinckneyville Eagles. Caby played on the Pinckneyville Celtics fast pitch softball team of 1993 when they were Class A State Champions. He also was a broadcaster for DuQuoin Indians baseball. Survivors include one daughter, Cameron Hepp; father, Bobby Hepp; mother, Karon Hepp; brother, Cory Hepp; paternal grandmother, Ruby Hepp; niece, Lexi Hepp, all of Pinckneyville, IL and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Hester Hagel and paternal grandfather, Robert W. Hepp. Funeral services will be held at Beaucoup Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Brother Mark Lee officiating. Interment will be in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL. Friends may call at Beaucoup Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday at church from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL is in charge of the arrangements.
