Wanda H. Miller Wanda H. Miller, age 89, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2014 at 2:10 p.m. in her son's home. Wanda was born on June 27, 1924 in rural Pinckneyville, IL, a daughter to Chris J. and Clara (Gass) Nehrkorn. On June 22, 1955, she married Kenneth L. Miller in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Parsonage, Pinckneyville, IL and he preceded her in death on September 23, 1999. Wanda was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL and was a homemaker. She enjoyed teaching Sunday school, doing crossword puzzles, and visiting and helping people and she loved small children. Survivors include two sons, Donny Miller and Jimmie Miller, both of Pinckneyville, IL; one brother, Bill (JoAnn) Nehrkorn of Tamaroa, IL; three grandchildren, Brandon Loftis, Justin Miller and Leta Miller, all of Pinckneyville, IL; and three great-grandchildren, Thomas Miller of Pinckneyville, IL, Curtis Loftis of Christopher, IL, and Christian James Miller of Pinckneyville, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sisters, Clara Goldman and Myrtle McElroy; four brothers, George Nehrkorn, Robert Nehrkorn, Gene Nehrkorn and Paul Nehrkorn; and a daughter-in-law, Cheryl Miller. Funeral services will be held at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. with Brother Rob Mathis officiating. Interment will be in Concord Cemetery, Rice, IL. Friends may call at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church. Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL is in charge of arrangements.
