Walter "Mickey" Oliver's Obituary
Walter "Mickey" Oliver Sr., age 68, of Coulterville, IL, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at 6:59 a.m. in St. Elizabeth's Hospital, O'Fallon, IL.
Mickey was born on July 29, 1952 in Coulterville, IL, a son to Arretta Oliver. He worked for the City of Coulterville. He enjoyed fishing, watching tv, movies and mowing grass.
Survivors include his fiancé, Tammy Martin of Coulterville, IL; two sons, Walter "Mikey" Oliver Jr, and Terry Burns of Sparta, IL; two daughters, Cherylyn Haslatt of New Athens, IL and Cheylene Oliver of Marissa, IL; one sister, Beverly Porter of Sparta, IL; ten grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, and two brothers, James L. Helms and Donald E. Helms.
Graveside service will be held at Coulterville City Cemetery, Coulterville, IL on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with Ron Mazander officiating.
Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
Memorial donations may be made to the family.
