Wallace I. Lipe's Obituary
Wallace Irving Lipe, age 83, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2006 at 5:50 p.m. in Coulterville Care Center, Coulterville, IL. Wallace was born on October 12, 1922, a son to James and Lessie (Milligan) Lipe. He married Dorothy M. Bauersachs on May 19, 1946 in Galum Church, Pinckneyville and she preceded him in death on January 10, 1999. In his lifetime, he was farmer and retired from Sparta Printing after 22 years. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL and a member of the Graphic Arts International Union Local 210B. Survivors include two sons: Robert W. and Luan Lipe of Pinckneyville, and Roy and Patsy Lipe of Pinckneyville, two daughters: Alice J. Lipe of Emmaus, PA, and Nancy D. and Larry Wilbern of Pinckneyville, nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two sisters-in-law, and two brothers-in-law. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and four brothers: Ralph, Lloyd, Floyd and Melvin Lipe. Funeral services will be Wednesday morning, July 5, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL with Reverend Rick Hatley officiating. Interment will be in the Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL. Friends may call at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday morning from 8:00 a.m. till 9:30 a.m., then at the Church from 10:00 a.m. till Services. Memorial donations may be made to the Coulterville Care Center or the American Diabetes Association.
