Virginia Ivory Kellerman's Obituary
Virginia Ivory Kellerman, age 80, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2009 at 5:40 a.m. in Good Samaritan Hospital, Mt. Vernon, IL. Virginia was born on September 2, 1928 in Perry County, IL, a daughter to Arnold and Freda J. (Heiman) Neiderbrock. On September 14, 1949, she married Leo Edward Kellerman in Todds Mill, and he survives. Virginia was a member of the Baptist faith, and was baptized in the First Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL as a young woman, worked as a seamstress at the Pinckneyville Garment Factory and baked beautiful wedding cakes for 25 years. Virginia enjoyed being a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her mother: Freda Haggard of Pinckneyville, IL, husband: Leo Kellerman of Pinckneyville, IL, one son: Clarence S. (Melanie) Kellerman, Sr. of Tamaroa, IL, two daughters: Sherry K. (Lawrence) Bartnicki of Nashville, IL and Cynthia S. (Robert, Sr.) Ferrari of Pinckneyville, IL, eleven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, one brother: Frederick "Freddy" Neiderbrock and two sisters: Margaret White and Nancy Neiderbrock Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL on Monday, February 2, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. with Brother Charles Smith officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, DuQuoin, IL. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Sunday, February 1, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at the Church Memorials may be made to Shriner's Hospital, American Diabetes Association or Luke Memorial Hospice.
