Violet Marie Hall's Obituary
Violet Marie Hall, age 91, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Tuesday, May 02, 2006 at 12:30 p.m. in Pinckneyville Community Hospital Skilled Care Unit. Violet was born on February 27, 1915 in Pinckneyville, IL, a daughter to Wilhelm Mortiz and Anna Marie (Gossman) Lenzen, Jr. She was christened Violette Marie Louisa Lenzen and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Pinckneyville and a member of the Ladies Eagle Auxiliary. She had worked as a nurses' aide at Pinckneyville Community Hospital. Survivors include one son: Col. Gerry William Bass and wife Carol Rae Huggins Keene of Naples, FL, two daughters: Mary Ann Daffron and husband Bill of Arivaca, AZ, and Nancy Keith-Conner of DuQuoin, IL, eight grandchildren: Marion Keith, Janis Chandler, Kelly (Daffron) Aguiar, Jeff Daffron, David Daffron, and John Daffron, Mark Bass, Mary Gossman, thirteen great-grandchildren: Lynn Rheinecker, Jane Rheinecker, Maci Chandler, Grant Keith, Kelcey Keith, Nathan Daffron, Ben Daffron, Julie Daffron, Joe Daffron, Max Daffron, Roger Aguiar, Jennifer Allen Bass, and Kristina Rae Gossman, two step-great-grandchildren: Chelsea and Helena Aguiar, and one great-great-granddaughter: Taylor Allen. She was preceded in death by her parents and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, Pinckneyville on Friday, May 5, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Jon W. Smithley officiating. Interment will be in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville. Friends may call at Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, Pinckneyville on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. and on Friday at the Zion Lutheran Church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. Memorial donations may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, Pinckneyville.
