Viola Leta Moll's Obituary
Viola Leta Moll, age 65, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at 10:12 p.m. at her son's residence. Viola was born on May 11, 1944 in Coulterville, IL, a daughter to Walter and Opal (Owens) Spinnie. On November 12, 1965, she married William Lawrence Moll, Jr. in Chester, IL and he preceded her in death on May 13, 2005. Viola attended Land of Lincoln College, Springfield, IL and was a loving mother and grandmother. Viola is survived by six sons: Robin Spinnie of Ocala, FL, Roy (Adonna) Atherton, II of Sparta, IL, Wallie Atherton of Washington Courthouse, OH, Willie Atherton of Red Wood City, CA, William (Jamie) Moll and Wilber Moll, all of Tamaroa, IL, five daughters: Brenda (Pete) Fessler of DuQuoin, IL, Mary Ann Grab of Pinckneyville, IL, Melba (Mike) Crabtree of DuQuoin, IL, Rose Sutton of Reno, NV and Gladys (Roger) Stivers of Nokomis, IL, three brothers: Harold (Carol) Spinnie of Stonechurch, IL, Jim Spinnie of Coffeen, IL and Butch (Bonnie) Spinnie of Tilden, IL, five sisters: Terry (Brian) Kempher of Apoca, FL, Nola (Dennis) Fischer of Red Bud, IL, Kay Kempher of Lakeland, FL, Joyce Copple of Sparta, IL and Vicki (Pat) Burke of Willisville, IL, thirty five grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and many dear nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter: Margie Chatham, two brothers: Larry and Walter Spinnie and one sister: Nina Finley. Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Monday, September 14, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Nine Mile Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to the family of Viola Moll
