Patti and Family,
I'm so sorry I didn't get to the funeral home for you.
I tried to but I just couldn't make it,please forgive me,I thought a lot of Vernon I went to school with him,he was the big guy and I was the little girl he thought.
I know there is nothing I can say that hasn't already been said, but I'm here for you if you need me.
Patty, I am so sorry to hear of Vernon's passing as is everyone else at the clinic. On Tuesday, everyone kept saying, "He was such a nice man." He was not only a nice man but a good man and I feel privileged to have known him. I know you loved him very much. You took such wonderful care of him and were an excellent example to me of God's goodness here on this earth and what a wife should be. Please know that we are praying for you, the kids and grandkids as you go through this time of sadness.
Dear Patti,
Jerry and I would like to express our deepest sympathy for the loss of Vernon. We hope that your wonderful memories of him will bring you comfort and peace at this difficult time. We are thinking of you and praying for you every day.
We are honored to have known Vernon as a good friend.
Patti, please let us know if we can do anything at all for you and your family. We will miss Vernon very much and we are fortunate to have been among his friends.
With sympathy,
Faith
If Your Knew
by Steven Kinworthy
If you knew where I am standing
If you could see the sights I see
If you could hear the angels singing
The songs they sing eternally
If you knew the One I'm holding
Could see the smile He smiles at me
If you knew where I am resting
You would not cry for me
I'm resting in the arms of Jesus
No other place would I rather be
So if you shed a tear
Please don't shed it for me
For if you knew where I am resting
You would not cry for me
