I just want my grandma to know that I am happy for her and the she was a true inspiration in my life from the standpoint of how she lived her life.

The passing of a parent is difficult, and I feel for you. You can be comforted by the fact she is in heaven.
I have fond memories of Verna Lee. The happy attitude stands out and she always had a big smile. She always called me on my birthday... so nice.
When Edwin and Verna Lee stopped by to visit, we always enjoyed them.

I had the privilege of living by Verna Lee when she lived on Elizabeth St. and we had many great conversations. I can also say, that as a young child, I can remember Cecil and Myrtle as they attended my church. Then when she married Edwin, I visited them in Imperial Heights. on one occasion, Edwin gave me some turnips. I will remember her smile, and we certainly know that her faith was intact, and we shall see her again one day in heaven. I am so sorry for your loss.
