Tyler L. Smith's Obituary
Tyler L. "Big Show" Smith, age 25, of Campbell Hill, IL, died as a result of an automobile accident on Friday, August 18, 2006 on the Pyatt-Cutler Road at 5:32 p.m. Tyler was born on August 18, 1981 the son of Mark E. and Kimberly (Miller) Smith. He graduated from Trico High School in 1999 and from Rend Lake College in 2002 with degrees in Ag Production and Mechanics. Tyler worked for the Knight Hawk Mine as a coal miner. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Conant, IL and the Farm Bureau Young Leaders and loved boating at the lake, farming, and hanging out with friends. Survivors include his parents; Mark and Kim Smith of Campbell Hill, his fiancé; Marie Buschschulte of Pinckneyville, a brother; Ethan Smith and his fiancé Amber Heiple of Campbell Hill, a sister; Brittany Smith of Campbell Hill, his maternal grandparents; Tom and Janet Miller of Pinckneyville, his paternal grandparents; Dale and Ruth Smith of Cutler, a great-grandmother, Marian Svanda, of Pinckneyville. Funeral services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Conant, IL on Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Greg Schultz officiating. Interment will be in Galum Presbyterian Cemetery, Pinckneyville. Visitation will be held at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home in Pinckneyville, IL on Monday from 3:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. till 10:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to the Farm Bureau Young Leaders or to the family of Tyler Smith.
