Tracy Lynn Freeman's Obituary
Tracy Lynn Freeman, age 48, of Evansville, IN, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at 1:36 a.m. in St. Vincent Hospital, Evansville, IN.
Tracy was born on February 29, 1972 in Murphysboro, IL, a daughter to Ernest and Wilma (Myers) Freeman. She had worked as a home health aide until her health forced her to stop. Tracy was a member of Liberty Street Baptist Church, Murphysboro, IL and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, family and having family dinners.
Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Wilma (Gerald) Brown of Evansville, IN; stepmother, Venita Freeman of Murphysboro, IL; one son, Trayvion Freeman of Evansville, IN; one daughter, Tayzia Freeman of Evansville, IN; two grandchildren, Lei'lani and Kei'Mani; boyfriend, Demetrius Turner of Murphysboro, IL; two brothers, Tumili (Valerie) Dunklin of Evansville, IN and Aaron Freeman of Murphysboro, IL; four sisters, Kimberly Freeman (William Garnett) of Evansville, IN, Yolonda Freeman of Murphysboro, IL, Carla Dooley of Carbondale, IL and Jamie Bradley of McLeansboro, IL; two aunts, Doris Brown and Jo Ann Jackson; two uncles, Carl (Jo Ann) Myers and Ernie (Lori) Bryant; and a host of special friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Freeman; three children, Rondall, Tynell, and T'Nastasha Freeman; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, DuQuoin, IL on Friday, October 2, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Jessie Davis and Pastor Louise Alexander officiating. Cremation will be performed after the funeral service. Interment of cremains will be at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, DuQuoin, IL on a later date.
Visitation will be at Pyatt Funeral Home, DuQuoin, IL on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Due to health concerns related to the Covid-19 virus and by the signing of executive order by Governor J.B. Pritzker, Phase Four attendance will be limited to 50 people and social distancing will be enforced. The funeral home asks that all attendees please wear a mask.
