Timothy W. McDonnough's Obituary
Tim McDonnough, age 36, of Chester, IL, formerly of Pinckneyville, died Sunday, April 15, 2007 near Pinckneyville. Tim was born on November 30, 1970 in DuQuoin, IL, a son of Pete and Wilma (Vancil) McDonnough. He served with the U. S. Army during Operation Desert Storm in Saudi Arabia and with the U. S. Army Reserve in Iraq. Tim was a member of the Roe's Dale Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, a correctional officer at Menard Penitentiary, Chester, a former member of the Marissa Fire Department, and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Survivors include his parents: Pete and Wilma McDonnough of Pinckneyville, two brothers: Mike of Pinckneyville and Bobby residing at home, a niece: Emily McDonnough of Pinckneyville, along with numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the Roe's Dale Baptist Church with Bro. Charles Smith officiating. Interment will be in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville. Graveside military rites will be provided by Presswood-Daffron American Legion Post #2504, Pinckneyville. Friends may call at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. till 9:30 a.m. then at the church from 10:00 a.m. till time of services. Memorials may be made to the Fire Fighter's Association.
