Thomas Louis (Louie) Templeton, age 97, of Pinckneyville passed away Sunday afternoon, June 27, 2010, at St. Clare Health Center in Fenton, Missouri. Louie was born on September 7, 1912, in Pinckneyville, IL to Thomas L. and Lenor Read Obituary
To the family: Mr. Templeton was a great role model! I have many good memories, knowing him when a student at PCHS and then as a colleague when I taught there one year. Our family also enjoyed visiting with him and his wife at Galum Church events. I'm glad he was honored for his many years of service to agriculture education and to FFA! May you find comfort in memories, too.

As one of Russell Malan's grandson's, I have vivid and cherished memories of visits to the house and farm south of Pinkneyville. The first stop from Harrisburg was always Louis and Myrtle's. Louis was a kind and generous man whom we all loved. My sympathies to you all.
