Thomas Scott Lueker's Obituary
Thomas Scott Lueker, 73, of Mt. Sterling, KY passed away Sunday, September 14, 2025 at the University of Kentucky Hospital, Lexington, KY. He was born September 27, 1951 in Pinckneyville, IL to the late Fred W. and Virginia Blumhorst Lueker. He was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Pinckneyville, IL and retired from Caterpillar/Boyd CAT. He was a Shriner and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He loved horse racing, UK sports, St. Louis Cardinals and Pinckneyville Basketball.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Lueker of Mt. Sterling, KY; sons, TJ Lueker (Erin) of Mt. Sterling, KY and Dustin Lueker (Melissa) of Mt. Sterling, KY; a daughter, Tricia Lueker of West Frankfort, IL; and grandchildren, Nolan Rich, Easton Lueker, Kyler Rich, James Lueker and Molly Lueker.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Lueker.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel Mt. Sterling, KY. A graveside interment service will be held 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 18, 2025 in Mueller Hill Cemetery in Pinckneyville, IL with Ron Kreid officiating. Pallbearers will be TJ Lueker, Dustin Lueker, Nolan Rich, Brandon Wall and Jarrod Kreid. Honorary pallbearers will be Easton Lueker, James Lueker, Kyler Rich and Molly Lueker. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Shriners Children’s Lexington, Office of Philanthropy, 110 Conn Terrace, Lexington, Kentucky 40508.
