Terry Dale Nelson's Obituary
Terry Dale Nelson, age 41, of Jeffersonville, IN, formerly of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2009, at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, IN. Terry was born April 12, 1968 in Biloxi, MS, a son of Jonathan C. and Diana (Troutt) Nelson. He married Jacqueline Arbuckle and she survives. Terry worked as a shipping clerk at Nexgen Mold & Tool in New Albany, IN. He loved baseball and was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan and coached many many baseball and football teams. Survivors include his wife: Jacqueline of Jeffersonville, IN, mother: Diana (John) Yancey of Beaumont, TX, step-mother: Linda (Bud) Morgenthaler of Pinckneyville, IL, maternal grandparents: Jim and Wilma Troutt of DuQuoin, IL, one daughter: Fallon Nelson of Pinckneyville, one son: Colton Nelson of Henryville, IN, three step-daughters: Amanda Powers, Kristi Powers and Kendra Powers, all of Jeffersonville, IN, five siblings: Kevin (Regina) Nelson of Bremerton, WA, Roni (Del) Birkhofer of Roswell, GA, Mark Nelson of New bury Park, CA, half brother: Greg (Debbie) Heck of DuQuoin, IL, and half sister: Sarah Billings of Beaumont, TX, step brother: Dan (Mindy) Cheek of Pinckneyville, IL, step sister: Amy Morrison of Pinckneyville, IL and dear friends: John (Nichole) Lukes of Clarksville, IN, and many dear nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Jonathan Nelson. Funeral service will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home in Pinckneyville, IL, on Saturday, October 17, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. with Bro. Collin Hirsch officiating. Interment will be in Holts Prairie Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL. Friends may call at the Pyatt Funeral Home on Friday, October 16, 2009, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and then on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fallon and Colton Nelson Educational Fund and will be accepted at the funeral home.
