Terrence A. Lewis' Obituary
Terrence A. Lewis, age 48, of Dallas, TX, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2013 in Medical City Hospital, Dallas, TX. Terrence was born on September 28, 1964 in Carbondale, IL, a son to Mary L. Lee He spent many happy years with his longtime partner, Allen Wingo of Dallas, TX. Terrence attended the baptist church in Dallas, TX, was a talented actor and model and worked in the entertainment industry as a general manager for Qzar in the Dallas, TX area. He enjoyed collecting antiques and ran track at DuQuoin High School, where he remained a record holder for 14 years until it was broken by his younger brother. He also ran track at Parkland College, Champaign, IL. He enjoyed tennis, running and playing chess. Survivors include his mother, Mary Lee of DuQuoin, IL; six brothers and sisters, Rick Grigsby of DuQuoin, IL, Curtis (Karolynne) Lewis of Columbus, OH, Timothy Lewis, Deborah Lewis of Murphysboro, IL, Tracy (Sheri) Lee of DuQuoin, IL and Wendall Lee of Paducah, KY; nieces and nephews, Della and Tevin Lee, Desire and Demarr Lewis, Darius Johnson, LaDainian Lee and Brandon Rives; several great-nieces; great-nephews; and longtime partner, Allen Wingo of Dallas, TX. Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, DuQuoin, IL on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Sonja Ingerbritsen officiating. A private family burial will be held at a later date. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, DuQuoin, IL on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Terrance A.
