Shlonda Ann Worley's Obituary
Shlonda Ann Worley, 48, of Pinckneyville, Illinois, passed from this life Wednesday, January 1st, 2020 1:40am at Blessings Hospital in Quincy, IL, surrounded by family.
She was born in Pensacola, Florida and the only daughter to Alberta and Robert Worley. The ones that knew her best called her Shoe. She attended Rend Lake College and obtained her CNA license in 1998. For 17 years she worked at Pinckneyville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center where she took care of the elderly and disabled. She loved being around family and helping in any way she could. She loved to draw & doodle, cook, sew, quilt, play with her dog Brody and attend her children and grandchildren's sporting events. Most importantly, she was humble and a caring person.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Worley. She is survived by her mother, Alberta McCollum; brothers, Richard & Susie Worley and Dustin & Shauna Simpson-Worley; three children, Derek & Robyn Worley, Cody & Kasey Sims and Hydee & Michael Dobbs; five grandchildren, Bradyn, Tytus, Archer, Cadey and Sawyer. Love you to the moon and back.
Funeral services will be held at Beaucoup Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. with Brother Mark Lee officiating.
Visitation will be at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday morning at Beaucoup Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
Memorial donations may be made to the family.
