Sharon Nadine Noward's Obituary
Sharon Nadine Noward, age 83, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 10:08 a.m. in her home. Sharon was born on December 4, 1932 in Pinckneyville, IL, a daughter to Woodrow and Irene (Bigham) Schmidt. On September 19, 1951, she married the love of her life, Milton Wallace Noward in the First United Presbyterian Church, Pinckneyville, IL and he preceded her in death on March 13, 2015. They shared 63 beautiful years together. Sharon loved caring for her husband and family and worked for many years at the First Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL, cooking on Wednesdays. She enjoyed planting flowers and loved sitting in the swing and watching them grow. She also enjoyed sewing, crocheting, quilting and was a member of Perry County Home Extension for many years. Sharon was always busy working in her yard, enjoying every minute and was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan. Survivors include two children, Brad (Jackie) Noward and Paula Jeremiah all of Pinckneyville, IL; four grandchildren, Amy Wildermuth, Kelly (Dr. Christopher) Reyes, Brittney Noward and Clinton (Michele) Noward; seven great grandchildren, Kelton, Karlee, Norah, Brynlee, Bryton, Quentin and Cailynn and her dear friend and caregiver, Stephanie Moody. She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Loren and Lena (Huth) Noward and son-in-law, Billy Jeremiah. Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL. Friends may call at the First Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday at the church from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Memorial donation s may be made to Caring and Sharing Thrift Store, Pinckneyville, IL or Pinckneyville Public Library. Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL is in charge of the arrangements.
