Ruth E. Bruno's Obituary
Ruth E. Bruno, age 80, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 11:55 a.m. in Pinckneyville Community Hospital Emergency Room, Pinckneyville, IL. Ruth was born on November 18, 1935 in Pinckneyville, IL, a daughter to Pete and May Gaynel (McClurken) Henseler. On November 5, 1955, she married John Joe Bruno in Pinckneyville, IL and he survives. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL where she served as secretary/treasurer for many years and was also a longtime secretary/treasurer for 4-3 Township. Ruth enjoyed spending time with her family and loved to watch her grandchildren playing. Survivors include her husband, John Joe Bruno of Pinckneyville, IL; two sons, John Bruno (Fiancé, Michelle Sprague) of Pinckneyville, IL and Joseph Bruno of Pinckneyville, IL; two daughters, Jenny Low (Chen Chor) of Longmont, CO and Joany (Larry E.) Smith of Pinckneyville, IL; five grandchildren, David A. (Michelle) Smith, Jessica (Mario) Beshears, Laura Callihan, Diana (Tyler) Reinhold and Sierra Bruno ; five great-grandchildren; four brothers, James Henseler of Collinsville, IL, Francis Henseler of Collinsville, IL, Roy Henseler of South Roxana, IL and Arthur Henseler of Moro, IL; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Jeanny Bruno; two brothers, Robert Henseler and William Henseler and three sisters, Mary Nanny, Betty Bruno and Annabelle Varne. Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Friday, June 3, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with Dr. Jay Lowder officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday at the funeral home from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to Oak Grove Cemetery, Pinckneyville, Illinois
