Ruth Ann Eichacker's Obituary
Ruth Ann Eichacker, age 66, of Fayetteville, IL, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 6:37 p.m. in Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO. Ruth Ann was born on December 23, 1947 in Steele, MO a daughter to James "JT" and Annie (Inman) Miller. On April 6, 1963, she married Edward L. Eichacker and he preceded her in death on February 21, 2011. Ruth Ann was of the Catholic faith, worked at Mill Haven Nursing Home, Millstadt, IL, Switzer Candy Company, St. Louis, MO on licorice production line, and Freeburg Nursing Home, Freeburg, IL. She was an excellent caregiver, loved taking care of her family and especially enjoyed her grandkids. Survivors include her children, Ronald Eichacker of Fayetteville, IL, Richard Eichacker (Wesley Reed) of Belleville, IL, Jim Eichacker (James Bernachi) of Cahokia, IL, Dawn Greicar of Fayetteville, IL and Christa (Donald "Robbie") Williams Jr. of Tilden, IL; ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; mother, Annie Miller of Fayetteville, IL; two brothers, Larry G. Miller of Crestwood, MO and Tom (Linda) Miller of Tulsa, OK; mother-in-law, Mary Eichacker of Millstadt, IL; two brothers-in law, Eugene Eichacker of Ballwin, MO and Allan (Kathy) Eichacker of Edwardsville, IL; three sisters-in-law, Cecelia (William) Podhrasky, Carol (Jerry) Faris and Paula (John) Wainwright all of Millstadt, IL; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Eichacker; father, James, "JT" Miller; father-in-law, Eugene Eichacker and sister-in-law, Dawn Miller. Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Monday, December 15, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. with Brother Rob Mathis officiating. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to American Diabetes Association.
