Ronald Gene Vuichard's Obituary
Ronald Gene Vuichard, age 84, of St. Libory, IL, formerly of Coulterville, IL, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 9:09 p.m. in his home. Ronald was born on November 1, 1932 in Coulterville, IL, a son to Charles F. "Chuck" and Martha Lavada (Hillyard) Vuichard. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force having served during the Korean War. On November 11, 1960, he married Diana F. Reisinger at Coulterville United Methodist Church, Coulterville, IL and she survives. He was a coal miner at Zeigler Coal and then Old Ben Coal Company. He was of the Protestant faith, a member of the V.F.W. Post #6865 and the U.M.W.A. He enjoyed playing golf and spending time piddling in his shed. Survivors include his wife, Diana Vuichard of St. Libory, IL; a daughter, Lisa (Charles) Dressler of St. Libory, IL; a sister, Shirley (Ernie) Ogilvie of Winkle, IL; two grandchildren, Nicholas (Hilary) Dressler of St. Libory, IL and Haley (Garon) Osborn of St. Libory, IL; and four great-grandchildren, Brody, Barkley, Briggs and Wesley. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Charles Dean Vuichard; and a granddaughter, Kelsey Jo Dressler. Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Kimberly Allen officiating. Interment will be in Coulterville City Cemetery, Coulterville, IL with military graveside rites by V.F.W. Post #6865, Coulterville, IL. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Coulterville Khoury League.
