Ronald Willard Snowden's Obituary
Ronald Willard "Ron" Snowden, age 62, of Glen Carbon, IL, passed away suddenly on Monday, October 13, 2008 while on a hunting trip in Emmett, ID. Ron was born on September 19, 1946 in Pine Bluff, AR, a son to Willard and Allie (Cope) Snowden. On July 1, 2005, he married Elaine Brazinski in Edwardsville, IL and she survives. He had retired from The Boeing Company, St. Louis, MO, and attended St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Glen Carbon, IL. He was an avid hunter and a member of Edwardsville Gun Club, Town and Country Gun Club, Safari Club International, and the N.R.A. Survivors include his wife: Elaine Brazinski of Glen Carbon, IL, two daughters: Marci (Troy) Stiefvater of Bryant, AR and Erica (Jason) Canon of Albuquerque, NM, one brother: Jimmy Snowden of Key West, FL, and three grandchildren: Reece and Baron Stiefvater, and Arianna Canon. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one granddaughter: Kayleigh Stiefvater. Funeral mass will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Lively Grove, IL on Saturday, October 18, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Dennis Voss officiating. Interment will be in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery, Lively Grove, IL. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Missouri Botanical Gardens, St. Louis, MO or Arkansas Children's Hospital, Little Rock, AR.
