Ronald R. "Ronnie" Kuhnert's Obituary
Ronald R. "Ronnie" Kuhnert, age 58, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at 3:28 p.m. in his home. Ronnie was born on April 10, 1957 in DuQuoin, IL, a son to Ronald G. and Joan (Beckam) Kuhnert. Ronnie was a self-employed commercial painter for over 30 years having worked with Kellerman Construction, Pinckneyville, IL and Thomas Home Improvement, Pinckneyville, IL among others. He was a member of the International Painters and Allied Trades Union and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Pinckneyville, IL. Ronnie enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, being outdoors, football and was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan. Survivors include one son, Colten Kuhnert; two daughters, Sabrina (Sean) Carter and Mattie Kuhnert; four grandchildren, Torrie Carter, Amelia Carter, Landen Carter and Aiden Carter;his father, Ronald G. Kuhnert all of Pinckneyville, IL; one brother, Jeff (Kristi) Kuhnert of Washington; his beloved dog, Jenny and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother; two brothers, Johnny Kuhnert and Michael Kuhnert and one sister, Julie Kuhnert. A memorial service will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with Brother Collin Hirsch officiating. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday at the funeral home from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Perry County Humane Society.
