Roger Killingsworth's Obituary
Roger Killingsworth, age 48, of Elkville, IL, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2013 at 12:22 p.m. in Marshall Browning Hospital, DuQuoin, IL. Roger was born on December 26, 1964 in Murphysboro, IL, a son to Clifford Terry and Maglene (Stout) Killingsworth. On August 23, 2005, he married Vickie Taylor in Elkville, IL and she survives. He worked assembling sunroofs at Aisin and enjoyed Bar-B-Queing and gardening, loved spending time with family and friends and especially dancing with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Vickie Killingsworth of Elkville, IL; three sons, Wade Wilson (Casey Buretz) of Nashville, IL, Calvin (Cassy) Ralston of DuQuoin, IL, and Daniel John (Rebecca) Taylor of Gillette, WY; four daughters, Rachel Ralston (Jason Whittle) of Elkville, IL, Lacy Thompson of Elkville, IL, Chandra Queen (Stanley Rector) of DuQuoin, IL, Chanda (Matthew) Dunmyer of Dowell, IL; sixteen grandchildren, Camie, Braylee, Drew, Paige, Matthew, Ellyette, Aden, Naythaien, Bella, Leena, Maddie, Mason, Matthew, Miyles, Christopher and Daniel; one great-granddaughter, Aly; three brothers, Stanley (Connie) Fowler of Carbondale, IL, Odis (Carolyn) Fowler of Johnston City, IL, and David (Angela) Fowler of Thompsonville, IL; five sisters, Barbara (Wesley) Vandivier of Nashville, TN, Mary Killingsworth of Henderson, TN, Brenda (Charles) Hubdard of Morris Chapel, TN, Linda Haddock of Central Heights, AL and Glenda Flynn of Salrdis, TN; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a granddaughter, Mieka Queen; a brother, J.W. Fowler; and two nephews and one niece. Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, DuQuoin, IL on Friday, July 19, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor David Betts and Brother Douglas Dunmyer officiating. Interment will be in Old DuQuoin Cemetery, DuQuoin, IL. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, DuQuoin, IL on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday morning from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
